How long will it take?
The vast majority of our orders are dispatched within 48 hours, Monday to Friday. UK orders are sent to you by second class Royal Mail post and should normally be received within an estimated 2 – 3 working days – however these are guidelines set out by the Royal Mail and are NOT GUARANTEED.
For our customers convenience we mail out in postal boxes that fit through the vast majority of letter boxes.

Guaranteed next business day delivery is also available on all our UK orders, this can be purchased at check out. This service requires a signature on receipt.

Orders for outside the UK
Please note taxes and duties may apply on delivery, these vary dependent on country and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Three things that are good to know:
1. Our packaging is plastic free and 100% recycled or recyclable.
2. As part of our ethos we try to minimise waste wherever possible. Consequently we offer a choice of basic tissue wrap through to organic cotton gift bag on all our items. There is no charge on any option, we just don't want to send out unnecessary materials you would rather not receive. The choice is yours.
3. We have always sent out our orders from our tiny, local, sub post office. Yes, we could use cheaper forms of delivery, but sub post offices are small businesses offering important services to local communities and we choose to support them.
As a small business, customer satisfaction is very important to us so please get in touch to discuss any issues. We are confident we can resolve things for you, and be pretty nippy about it too, Monday to Friday.
Simply contact us within 7 days of delivery to discuss options: firstname.lastname@example.org. Any item that has been agreed for refund must be returned in perfect and unworn condition.
NB: Personalised orders cannot be cancelled once the item has been made, and cannot be refunded unless faulty.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs of non faulty goods. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Each item is individually hand crafted to order from reclaimed materials. Precise colour, texture, and dimension will vary slightly.
Due to the nature of the materials and production processes, slight marks and inconsistencies will be present. This is an integral part of the story of the product.
For personalisation all characters are aligned by eye and stamped by hand. Alignment and spacing will not be precise, this is part of the handmade nature of our items.
All our metals used are 100% solid (absolutely no plating) and will therefore last a very long time, however like all metals they will tarnish with wear. This will be accelerated by contact with perfumes, oils and creams.
All our metals can be easily brought back to a bright shine with an appropriate metal cleaning cloth. See our 'Extras' section should you wish to purchase some specialist polishing pads.
Any silver used is commercially purchased solid sterling silver.
If you have selected leather for your item then, like all leather, it will appreciate a little feeding. Any neutral leather cream will do the job, or a touch of coconut oil, or even just a little of your skin moisturiser will feed it. Use just a little and rub it in well to avoid it transferring to clothes.
In the fullness of time the cord on items will start to wear. We offer a full rethread and repair service to keep your item looking good. See our 'Extras' section for further rethread & repair details.
Please note our woven nylon cord is very hard wearing and will look good for considerably longer than the natural leather or cotton cords. It has been manufactured in Germany by the same family since 1866.
If your glass beads start to look a little 'chalky' then smear a SMALL amount of vaseline between your palms then gently rub the beads between your hands.
